Wickson Creek SUD remains committed to expanding the water system to address the increased demand for water as we experience growth in the communities that we serve across the District. Listed below are some of the 2024 and 2025 ongoing Projects:
- Completion of Well #8 - 2,000 GPM additional water capacity ($0.6M)
- King Oaks Water Tower Rehab Project (0.25M)
- Transmission Line Project, 9 miles of 34-Inch waterline from our well fields in the northest part of the system to the east part of the system ($26M)
- Well #9 providing 2,000 GPM ($4.4M)
- A New Water Plant providing 1,000,000 gallons of ground storage capacity, and 13,500 GPM of pumping capacity ($10M)
- The addition of an emergency backup generator at water plant #4 in Brazos County. $500,000 of the project funded by grant money provided by Brazos County ($0.7M)
- New 1,500,000 Gallon Elevated Storage Tank in Brazos County ($6.7M)
- Brazos to Grimes County Supply Line increasing waterlines sizes east on Hwy 30 ($7M)
- Various TxDOT Waterline Relocation Projects
