Conservation Request

As we head into the hot and dry summer, we have seen water usage rise sharply.  In order to conserve the available water supply and to protect the integrity of our water supply facilities, Wickson Creek is requesting conservation.  Wickson wants to remind you of 2 free resources offered to conserve and manage water usage:

  • My Water Advisor 2.0 is a customer portal that allows customers to track water consumption through their devices. This app is available through the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, or on the web at https://mywateradvisor2.com/.  The app offers detailed consumption graphs, leak alerts, and real-time notifications, and enables you to manage water consumption.
  • BVWATERSMART is an educational partnership between Texas A&M University, Brazos Valley Groundwater Conservation District (BVGCD), the cities of College Station, Bryan, and the Wickson Creek Special Utility District. It is a network of neighborhood weather stations that measures rainfall. Weather stations report to an interactive website displaying daily and weekly neighborhood watering recommendations based on actual rainfall and plant water needs. https://bvwatersmart.tamu.edu/
